Getting started
eSIM basics, compatibility, and your account.
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your device. Instead of inserting a plastic card, you install a data plan electronically — typically by scanning a QR code. You can keep your home SIM active for calls and texts while using your MOBINIL eSIM for data.
Your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Most recent iPhone, Google Pixel, and Samsung Galaxy flagship models qualify. We recommend confirming compatibility before purchase. If your device turns out to be incompatible and you have not activated the eSIM, you are covered under our 14-day refund.
Yes. A simple account (name, email, password) allows us to deliver your eSIM, link it to your order, and provide support.
Purchasing & payment
Buying a plan, payment methods, and currency.
On our website: select your destination, choose a plan, and complete checkout. Our dedicated mobile applications are launching soon.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other digital wallets. Checkout is processed securely by Stripe.
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. MOBINIL never receives or stores your full card number or CVV.
All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD).
Activation & usage
Installing, validity, coverage, and top-ups.
After payment, you will receive a QR code, an ICCID, and an activation string, along with step-by-step instructions. Scan the QR code (or enter the details manually) in your device settings to install it.
Validity begins at activation, not at purchase. We recommend activating your eSIM when you are ready to begin using the data — for example, upon arrival at your destination.
No. Unused data does not carry over, and expired plans cannot be reactivated.
We offer plans for the United States and 110+ countries and regions. Each plan specifies its exact coverage — please review this before purchasing.
Yes. You can buy additional data at any time through your account.
As a connectivity aggregator, MOBINIL delivers coverage through established global providers and licensed local operators. Coverage and speed depend on local networks and conditions, so specific speeds cannot be guaranteed, but we partner with reputable, GSMA-compliant providers for reliable service.
Refunds & support
Refund eligibility and reaching our team.
If your eSIM has not been activated, you may request a full refund within 14 days. Once an eSIM is activated, the right to a refund generally ends, because the plan becomes live on a network. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
If activation fails due to an issue attributable to us, and we cannot resolve it within 24 hours of your request, you are entitled to a full refund or a free replacement, at your choice.
Contact us within 24 hours of arrival. If we confirm a partner-network failure that cannot be resolved within 48 hours, you may be eligible for a partial refund based on unused data and validity.
Email support@mobinil-esim.com. We acknowledge requests within 48 hours on business days and aim to resolve refund reviews within 5–10 business days.
Privacy & account
What we collect, identity, and deletion.
Only what we need: your name, email, order details, and basic technical and log data to keep the Service secure. We never sell your data, and we never store your full card number. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
No. We do not require your IMEI or EID, and standard travel data plans do not involve an identity (KYC) check. Your eSIM is installed directly on your device using a QR code or activation string.
Contact support@mobinil-esim.com at any time (or use in-app settings once available). We erase your data from active systems within 30 days, except records the law requires us to retain.
